No car entered this collection simply to fill a space. Some were searched for. Some appeared at exactly the right moment. Some have been with us for so long that it is difficult to remember a time before them.
Each one has a story to tell. First, for what it is in absolute terms: a chapter of automotive history, design, engineering or culture. Then, for what it represents to us: a family memory, a milestone, a childhood desire, sometimes simply a companion for the road.
This is not an encyclopaedic collection. It is a biographical one.
Chantal
Born as a military tool in 1942, Chantal crossed a piece of twentieth-century history before becoming part of a family. Her story runs from wartime service and Normandy to Milan and, eventually, to summer days in Versilia. The fascination is not only in the Willys itself, but in the contrast between what it was designed to do and what it represents now: memory, continuity and the rare possibility of using an object without erasing the life already written into it.

Princess Grace represents the clarity of the early Porsche language: compact dimensions, almost uninterrupted surfaces and a mechanical architecture that would define Stuttgart for decades. Polyantha Red, tan leather and the proportions of the 356 A T1 make her elegant without becoming precious. What matters most, however, is that she is not kept as a static object. On the road she becomes smaller, lighter and more convincing — a car whose character is revealed through use rather than protected from it.

Daisy
Daisy began long before the real car arrived. A yellow 993 first existed as a childhood object, then as a memory kept alive for years, until the right car appeared on an unrepeatable day. That is why the 993 matters here less as the final air-cooled generation in abstract terms than as a bridge between different ages of the same life: the child who wanted it, the adult who could finally choose it, and the father who understood that growing up does not require abandoning either of them.

Abeba is the deliberate contradiction of the collection: a 911 raised from the ground, wearing all-terrain tyres and carrying the visual memory of rally raids into ordinary streets. The Dakar is interesting precisely because it disturbs a familiar formula without destroying it. It suggests escape even when parked in Milan, makes broken surfaces feel like part of the route and turns capability into imagination. Totally unnecessary in the strictest sense, and therefore perfectly capable of explaining what TURE means.

Madame Claude marks a milestone through a car that refuses understatement. The 992 GT3 RS combines extreme aerodynamic purpose with a configuration made personal down to the last detail, and its story is inseparable from the path that made the choice possible. It is therefore not simply the fastest or most theatrical object in the garage. It is a car about inheritance, work, ambition and the pleasure of finally signing something entirely in one’s own name — excessive, precise and unapologetically personal.
