THE PROJECT

A collection,
many perspectives

A collection is more than the objects it gathers: it is the time it preserves. Every work carries the world that created it, the people who kept it and the eyes that continue to discover it.

TURE Collection brings Old Master paintings together with historic cars that have never ceased to travel. The paintings cross centuries; the cars cross Italy, meeting places and people and adding new memories to their own history.

A World to Share begins with this encounter. Not a comparison between art and motoring, but a dialogue between images: those that preserve the present of a distant age, and those that capture our own before it becomes the past.

THE WORKS

Italy as
a narrative

From the late Middle Ages to the Renaissance, works in the TURE Collection span centuries of Italian painting. Alongside the figures, the landscapes and architecture often reveal the painter’s own time.

In a late-fifteenth-century Crucifixion, Golgotha opens onto Florence: the Arno, the city’s buildings and Brunelleschi’s dome. A sacred narrative meets the painter’s present. What was once familiar has become a glimpse of a distant world.

It is almost a snapshot of Florence as it was then.

TURE’s photographs look at today’s Italy with a different yet kindred gaze. They preserve places, landscapes and fleeting atmospheres that, like that painted Florence, will one day tell of a world no longer quite the same.

THE CITIES

Brescia and
Florence

A painting from the Leonardesque tradition, formerly in the Fassati Collection in Milan, reveals a connection with Brescia, where recent archival research suggests its earlier collecting history may be traced.

The other five works belong to the Florentine painting tradition, spanning the late fourteenth century and the Renaissance.

An ideal link emerges between Brescia, birthplace of the 1000 Miglia, and Florence, one of the great centres of Italian art.

THE JOURNEY

Italy in
motion

The historic cars of TURE Collection belong to the past, but remain part of the present. They are not simply admired: they are driven, shared and given new places in which to make memories.

In 2026 they travelled across Italy, encountering cities and landscapes with stories older still. The photographs record far more than competitions. They preserve what escapes the stopwatch: a face, a square, the light of dawn, the anticipation before a start.

It is in these passing details that a journey becomes an experience, and an experience becomes something worth keeping.

In 2027, seven competitions will add new places and new images to a story still in motion. Every road will be different; the photographs will preserve not only where we went, but how we lived those moments.

THE DIALOGUE

Two eras,
one gaze

In a painting, the artist’s present has become our memory. In TURE’s photographs, our own present awaits the gaze of the future. Between them lies the same wish: to give passing moments a life beyond their time.

A face, a road, a gesture, a certain light: details we barely notice today and which, one day, may reveal more than we can imagine about the world we knew.

The past is what we have received; the present, what we choose to preserve; the future, the gaze to which we entrust it.

A World to Share is born of this encounter. A private collection, many perspectives, and the pleasure of making the stories they hold part of a shared experience.
