The original metal Vespa script on the pale green Faro basso leg shield.

Freedom never
grows old.

TURE / Personal projects

Small machines.
Large memories.

Five Vespas.
Five stories still unfolding.

Bought at auction, one at a time. Brought into the collection with a different future in mind for each: an identity to recover, a character to preserve, a summer to enjoy, or something delightfully unexpected.

A name.
A place.
A number plate.

125 VM2 — Faro basso

Restored in the 1990s, this Faro basso has another chapter to recover: its documentary identity.

We know it was first registered in Asti. Work is now under way to recover its papers and obtain its original registration plate, reconnecting the Vespa with the beginning of its story.

The blue Vespa VB1 in Versilia: a rider beside an outdoor summer barbecue.

Back on the road.
Just in time
for summer.

150 VB1

The conservative restoration is complete. Its first summer with us unfolded in Versilia, where a Vespa feels entirely at home.

A helmet, warm evening light, friends around a barbecue. A machine restored so that moments like these can happen again.

Keep the character.
Carry it forward.

150 VBA1T

Acquired at auction, the VBA1T is now undergoing a conservative restoration.

The project begins with the object we found: its details, its materials, its traces of use. The work is about giving that character a future.

Another chapter.
The same care.

GS 150 — VS5

The GS joined the collection through a separate auction acquisition. It too is undergoing a conservative restoration.

One Vespa at a time, with attention to the details that make each of them its own object. This chapter is still unfolding.

150 VBB1 — Sidecar

This one will take a different direction. A custom project in candy pink, retaining the usability of the Vespa and its sidecar.

In the garden, the sidecar will hold a generous glacette for three-litre bottles: a companion for summer dinners, with as much character as the ride that brought it there.
